Silver Comb To You is a mobile, in‑home styling service. To keep travel fair, predictable, and sustainable, I use a simple, transparent travel policy:

Service Area

I primarily serve Lamar, CO and surrounding communities. Because most of my clients are elderly women who prefer the comfort of home, I travel directly to you with all necessary tools and supplies.

Travel Radius & Fees

  • Within Lamar city limits: No travel fee

  • Outside Lamar: A small travel fee may apply based on distance, time, and fuel

  • Extended travel for weddings, proms, or special events: Quoted individually depending on location and schedule needs

Travel fees are always shared upfront before booking is confirmed—no surprises.

Weather & Road Conditions

For safety, travel may be adjusted or rescheduled during severe weather, road closures, or unsafe driving conditions. I’ll communicate promptly if conditions affect your appointment.

Client Responsibility

Please ensure there is safe, accessible parking and a clean, well‑lit space for setup. If your location changes, notify me at least 24 hours in advance so I can adjust travel plans.

This Service Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for mobile hairstyling services provided by Silver Comb To You (“Stylist,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking an appointment, the client (“you” or “client”) agrees to the following terms.

1. Services Provided

We offer mobile hairstyling services including, but not limited to:

  • Haircuts and styling for elderly women

  • In‑home or on‑location hairstyling

  • Special‑occasion hair (prom, weddings, events, photoshoots)

  • Light finishing touches such as curling, pinning, or smoothing

Any additional services must be discussed and approved in advance.

2. Booking & Appointments
  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our website, phone, or messaging.

  • Please ensure you provide accurate contact information and service details.

  • For special‑occasion bookings, a detailed consultation may be required.

3. Travel & Location Requirements

As a mobile stylist, services are performed in your home or chosen location. Clients agree to provide:

  • A safe, clean, and accessible workspace

  • Adequate lighting and seating

  • Access to electrical outlets (if needed for styling tools)

If the environment is unsafe or unsuitable, the stylist may refuse service.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients must disclose:

  • Allergies

  • Scalp sensitivities

  • Medical conditions affecting hair or mobility

  • Any limitations that may require accommodations

This is especially important for elderly clients receiving in‑home services.

5. Special‑Occasion & Event Services

For weddings, proms, and other events:

  • A trial run is recommended but not required

  • Final results may vary based on hair type, weather, and environmental conditions

  • We cannot guarantee that styles will remain unchanged throughout the event

  • The client is responsible for being ready at the scheduled start time

Delays caused by the client may reduce the number of services completed.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment

  • Same‑day cancellations may be subject to a fee

  • Event bookings (weddings, proms, etc.) may require a non‑refundable deposit

If the stylist must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unsafe conditions, any deposits will be refunded or the appointment rescheduled.

7. Payments & Fees
  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed

8. Health & Safety

We follow standard hygiene practices, including:

  • Sanitizing tools between clients

Clients who are sick, contagious, or have untreated scalp conditions may be asked to reschedule.

9. Photos & Media

With your permission, we may take photos of completed hairstyles for use on our website or social media. You may decline photo use at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Reactions due to undisclosed allergies or conditions

  • Damage caused by previous chemical treatments or hair health issues

  • Style longevity affected by weather, activity, or hair type

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

11. Agreement

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Service Agreement.
